The Shrewsbury International Comedy Festival is back for another blockbuster week of live comedy from 9-13 July, with performances across multiple venues throughout town.
Individual shows with tickets still available include Ignacio Lopez, Mrs Smith, Stella Graham, and Terry Christian‘s 30th anniversary tour of The Word at St Mary’s. Comedy Tapas nights offer multiple acts in one evening, while Political Brunch sessions provide daytime entertainment.
Dave Chawner brings his Mental show, Tony Law performs at Henry Tudor Inn, and rising star Josh Jones presents his Work in Progress. The festival showcases both established names and emerging talent across intimate venues, making it one of the region’s premier comedy events.
The five-day festival culminates with the star-studded Gala Show on Sunday 13 July at Theatre Severn, featuring MC Scott Bennett, viral sensation Abandoman, Tez Ilyas, QI regular Cally Beaton, and 1930s throwback Troy Hawke.
