After drawing huge crowds and filling the streets of Shrewsbury with live music this May, Loopfest is officially returning in 2026, and tickets are already on sale.

The much-loved multi-venue music festival will be back on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 May 2026, with additional fringe events taking place on Friday 1 May. Early bird tickets are available now and expected to sell out quickly.

A Festival That Keeps Growing

This year’s event, held from 2 to 4 May 2025, saw more than 15,000 attendees descend on Shrewsbury, enjoying live performances across over 40 venues. The festival once again broke footfall records in the town centre and cemented its place as one of the UK’s biggest urban music festivals.

Festival organiser Jamie Smith said the 2025 edition marked a huge step forward:

2025 was a big step up. Loopfest is now one of the largest multi-venue festivals in the UK. We’re bringing more acts to Shropshire than ever before, and you can expect major headliners performing alongside our own incredible homegrown talent.

He added:

The event was a resounding success. The town was alive with music and smiling faces. It’s a testament to the hard work of our team that, in just three years, we’ve grown so rapidly — especially at a time when many festivals are having to close their doors.
