Two Shrewsbury businesses are joining forces once again to bring a premium travel event to the heart of the town this autumn.
Peakes Travel Elite, the multi-award-winning travel agency based on Mardol, is teaming up with Shropshire Festivals to host the Luxury Travel Showcase on Sunday, 2nd November, from 11am until 3pm. The event will take place at St Mary’s Church, the decommissioned medieval building just off Pride Hill.
A Celebration of Travel Planning
This marks the fourth consecutive year that the two local businesses have collaborated on the event, which attracts leading tour operators from across the UK. The showcase offers residents a chance to kickstart their holiday planning for 2026 and beyond, all under one historic roof.
“Our annual travel event is the perfect place to find holiday inspiration and start having conversations with travel experts, who we have hand-picked for their excellent service and offering. Our team will also be on hand to offer their award-winning expertise in the world of cruise, touring and adventure.”
Claire Moore, managing director at Peakes Travel Elite, explained the benefits of attending in person rather than searching online alone.

Once you have some ideas to work towards, we can book you in for a follow-up appointment at our base on Mardol, where we can take a deeper dive into all the possible itineraries and options.”
The upstairs meeting area at Peakes Travel Elite provides a private space for video calls with tour operators and detailed planning sessions.

The historic St Mary’s Church will be transformed for the occasion by the events team at Shropshire Festivals, who will create an atmosphere fitting for a luxury travel showcase.
