Spreading Christmas Magic Across Shropshire

Shropshire-based charity Little Stars has officially launched its 2025 Santa’s Little Stars Campaign, running from 27th October to 30th November, in partnership with The Darwin Centre in Shrewsbury.

The campaign’s goal is simple but heartfelt: to make sure every child and pregnant woman in the county experiences a little Christmas magic — even during tough times.

Since its beginning, the campaign has gone from strength to strength. Over the past four years, 1,471 children across Shropshire have received gifts through Santa’s Little Stars, with thousands of donations pouring in from the local community.

This year’s tagline, “Every Child Deserves a Little Christmas Magic,” captures the spirit of the campaign perfectly.

“Christmas should be magical for every child. With your support, we can make sure children in our community don’t miss out on receiving a gift. Together, we can spread a little Christmas magic across Shropshire.”

— Leanne, Founder and CEO of Little Stars

Local Support at the Heart of the Campaign

The campaign once again has strong backing from The Darwin Centre, which will host collection points throughout the shopping centre and encourage visitors to get involved.

“We are so proud to once again support the Santa’s Little Stars campaign here at The Darwin. It is a truly special initiative that brings our community together to make a real difference for families across Shropshire,”

said Kevin Lockwood, Centre Manager at The Darwin.

“The generosity we see from shoppers, businesses, and local groups is always inspiring, and we’re delighted to provide collection points within the centre to help make donating as easy as possible.”

Last year, thanks to overwhelming community support, Little Stars was able to give more than one present to each child — a tradition they hope to continue in 2025.
